Professional Development

Scheduling for professional development training opportunities is available to faculty and staff through an online portal that is accessed securely by employees with a NetID. This site is the most heavily utilized training registration site for faculty and staff. The site offers self-registration and displays selected course sessions on a personal home page. The site sends a notification upon registration for a session, three days prior to a session date, and upon cancellation/un-enrollment of a session.

New Employee Orientation

The New Employee Orientation Program is designed to help ensure that new employees have an “awareness level” understanding of State of Connecticut and University policies, as they relate to their positions. Additionally, new employees complete payroll forms, receive employee benefit information, and obtain a parking pass. There is no need for registration.
